Prior Accomplishments

It is important for a thriving neighborhood to be adequately represented at the governing table of the Town of Falmouth on an on-going basis. Davisville Civic Association (DCA) actively participates on various Town Committees and as Town Meeting Members to make sure DCA’s voice is heard in the community and to assure appropriate perspectives are added to environmental and on-going coastal concerns. DCA has a long history of involvement in projects and activities that have enabled Davisville to continue to be a wonderful residential section in the special Cape Cod Town of Falmouth.

Menauhant Beach West PURCHASE

Coming full circle from the founding of the DCA, the Town of Falmouth purchased the property that was originally planned for the 1952 Captain’s House hotel expansion and the property is now part of Menauhant Beach!

Sidewalk Improvements

DCA placed bricks on the meandering pathway sidewalk in lower Davisville Road as it approaches Menauhant Road.

Green Pond Bridge

DCA took part in the planning of the Green Pond Bridge to ensure that its height and configurations were appropriate, along with a sidewalk that would be contiguous across the causeway and include a fishing platform.
